To Our Dearest Lord’s Angels Montessori School Community,

Warm Welcome to the School Year 2021-2022! Our campuses remain open, and our faculty and staff are ready to welcome one and all. The LAMS community is here to support you every step of the way in your academic journey and personal development. This year, I announce a theme that will guide the academic year. The 2021-2022 theme is “We are here for each other!” Nothing should stop us from achieving success in any way we choose to define it.

As the late Steve Jobs, former CEO of Apple, once said that “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” It is without a doubt that the teachers, administrators and staff of Lord’s Angels Montessori, Inc. love their students to the point that we want them to grow into splendid members of society to become compassionate, responsible, and competent human beings.

While our situations have not only delivered a devastating blow to society and the world economy and it has also completely changed our way of life and put pressure on schools around the world to adopt major educational reforms, it is more important than ever for LAMS to deliver quality education and consistent teaching-learning processes and keep up with this ever-changing paradigm.

Therefore, as a learner-centered institution, LAMS continuously improves itself to better serve its stakeholders. Through this, the institution aims to let students’ study in an atmosphere that is child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and stimulating. Our teachers will help students learn by facilitating their progress and nurturing them on a regular basis, and as custodians of the institution, administrators and employees ensure that an enabling and supportive atmosphere exists for successful learning to take place where we believe in the how family, community, and other stakeholders should all be actively involved in the development of life-long learners.

Welcome to a new school year at Lord’s Angels Montessori School, Inc.!

I can’t get enough of ECQ, MECQ, GCQ, MGCQ, the long evenings, times spent reading, walking and enjoying the company of family and friends. I hope you’re almost soaking up the last few days of your vacation after school starts.

Lord’s Angels Montessori School, Inc. is a community committed to establishing the intellectual, emotional and physical foundation that will develop the skills for your child to become a self-directed learner, flexible thinker, creative problem-solver and support their ever-increasing curiosity about the world.

I have to admit that I’m still disappointed that COVID is not behind us yet, however, I’m much more confident about our ability to provide remote learning to all of our students. We experienced a successful 2020-2021 school year and I have no doubt that together with the hardworking teachers, we will do so again. As of now, our protocol for opening this September will be exactly as that in place in 2020.

To our beloved teachers, everyone who remembers his own education, remembers teachers; not the methods and not the techniques. Teacher is the heart and soul of the educational system whether it is remote or in person. Your fingerprints don’t fade from the lives that you touched.

To our beloved parents, this pandemic continues to dramatically affect our lives including our relationship with other people in our family, community, home, and workplace. During this strange and difficult time, it is worth considering additional ways to protect these relationships and try to better cope with some of the problems the virus creates. Remember that these constraints will come to an end. In order to get through these, we all need to talk, listen, and take care of each other and ourselves building on what bring us together.

The mission to educate your children is considered both a task and a responsibility. We, in the LAMS community, are determined to make this calling a reality. Our goal is to develop children with strong character and nurtured potentials in a safe and caring environment that promotes academic excellence.

As we face yet another challenging school year, let me assure you all that LAMS is here for you. We have all survived the roadblocks brought about by coronavirus last year and as this SY 2021-2022 unfolds, we remain committed to working together with families and communities to manage this unprecedented situation. As we continue to plan for the days ahead, we are driven with the passion to face this new normal with a great amount of positivity and vigor. This year, we take advantage of every opportunity to develop our system. This includes utilizing the additional learning resources and support services available to you. We endeavor to address the educational needs of students through meaningful and tangible experiences. We will assure you that students are catered for in a balanced and varied program designed to suit their needs and interests amidst this crisis.

Let us move forward together and keep our newly designed LAMS website updated for fresh news and information. We encourage all of you to visit the site to take advantage of the helpful resources for all. We look forward to meeting you all online during the school year at our periodic chat sessions, where you will have the opportunity to share feedback and ideas about your LAMS experience.
